Journey map templates
Nine starters, each a real map with stages, lanes and example cards. Open one, rename the stages and it is yours.
How to choose
All nine work the same way. What differs is the lanes: how many there are and what they ask you for. Start from the situation you are in.
- Your first map
- Take the basic customer journey template. Four stages, three lanes, nothing to unlearn. Move up to the detailed customer journey template once three lanes stop holding what you know.
- A service that fails behind the counter
- Use the service blueprint template. It puts the frontstage, the backstage and the supporting processes under the customer's own actions. For a case that has already gone wrong, take the support and complaint journey template.
- A specific industry
- There is a starter for the common ones: e-commerce, B2B buying, patient care, employee onboarding and a day in the life. Open the closest one and rename the stages.
