journima

Journey maps your team will actually keep open.

Stages across the top, lanes down the side, cards in every cell. Fifteen lane types, drag-and-drop everything, and a save queue that never gets in the way.

Start with a structure, not a blank page.

Pick one of nine templates or describe the journey in a sentence and let Journima draft the stages and lanes. Then make it yours.

  • Nine starters. From a basic five-stage journey to a full service blueprint.
  • Import what you have. Bring stages and cards in from Excel or CSV.
  • Save your own. Any map can become the template for the next team.

An editor that keeps up with a workshop.

Every change lands instantly and syncs in the background. If two people edit the same card, Journima notices and refetches instead of overwriting.

  • Drag anything. Stages, lanes and cards move where you drop them. Columns resize. Zoom out to see it whole.
  • Keyboard first. New card, next cell, undo: all without touching the mouse.
  • Fifty versions. Automatic snapshots plus named ones. Restore any of them.

The emotion curve, per persona.

Drag waypoints directly on the canvas. Each attached persona gets its own curve in its own colour, so the same journey can look very different to different people.

  • Three scales. Minus two to plus two, one to five, or zero to ten.
  • Overlay or isolate. Show all personas at once or filter down to one.

Pain points that go somewhere.

Add a portfolio lane and put pain points and opportunities at the moment they happen. Each one is a portfolio item with a key like PAT-4 or OPP-12, so it can be scored, linked to evidence and exported.

  • One key everywhere. The same identifier in the map, in a meeting and in a ticket.
  • Evidence attached. Research insights link straight to the item they support.

Questions teams ask

Can several people edit at once?
Yes. Edits save optimistically and sync in the background. Journima detects conflicts on the same card and refetches rather than overwriting. Live cursors are not part of the product today.
How big can a map get?
As wide and deep as your journey. Zoom, column widths and saved views keep long maps navigable; linked maps let you nest detail under a single stage.
Can I export a map?
Vector PDF and 2x PNG are rendered server-side so they print cleanly. Portfolio data exports to CSV.
